A Battle is Winnable.

There’ll be days when you feel as though you are losing the battle. Your battle likely looks different than my battle. Your battle may be a body image or weight issue. You may be challenged by an illness or an autoimmune issue that causes fear. I get it! You may be warring with a family member, neighbor, or coworker.

The battle may be internal such as a mental health crisis (depression) or trauma (PTSD). We each have season in which we are in a battle or are paralyzed by fear.

The most peaceful and beautiful way I have been shown to overcome battles and fears is leaning into Christ for assurance, being led by the Holy Spirit through the tumult, and relying on the promises of God. For example, Romans 8:28 is my life verse which I adopted over two decades ago. The verse states, " And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose."

In Christ, grace and God's goodness are with us in the battle. Believers are not forsake (abandoned).

God is audacious! God does not condemn us in our fear (Romans 8:1). In fact, God moves in spite of our battles and fear. Thus His people persevere, become mighty conquerors, and overcomers (Romans 8:37). God goes before you! The battle is winnable! Therefore, trust that the way is made. His power is greater than what your fears say, what this world tells you, and what satan tries to stop. “…the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world” (1 John. 4:4). PressForward and witness God work in your battle! ♡
