God Gifts Mercy in Our Mess

Sin is captivating (until it's not) up to the moment your heart spirals into deep grief. But, God's love is captivating when you see His sweet mercy in the midst of deep grief from sin.

Psalm 51 is king David's declaration of sorrow and penance toward his adulterous relationship with Bathsheba (a married neighbor lady) and the death of her husband, Uriah (an elite and loyal soldier in David's army). David did not cast blame on to Bathsheba. David was challenged to repent.

Because of David's repentance, the king also witnessed God's mercy.

Hence, friends, I urge you to search God’s mercyseat continuously. God’s mighty hand delivers His people from every sin, fear, and the things that cause anxiousness, without exception. He gives light and life to the sinner; never does He pronounce shame over his people. No soul is turned away nor becomes dry and parched while in God’s merciful care. All troubles soon vanish. Heaven is filled with sleepless eyes. Angelic guards stand fearless and faithful to all who call upon the Lord. Call upon the Lord, friends. His merciful hands are always open. Step forward into the arms of mercy, then PressForward into freedom. ♡
