Focus Over Fretting

As you rise and the day begins, focus on His face and let His power and grace sweep away the worry and doubt of things that push to penetrate your mind that may not even occur. Release each burden into His hands before walking out the door. Trust that His grace is more than sufficient for every need or obstacle of the day. Inhale His peace; let peace that surpasses understanding comfort your soul as you walk in His way. Be at peace, friends. ♡

“The Lord bless you and keep you;...” (Numbers 6:24).

How often do you go to bed at night or awake in the morning fretting over a circumstance, new beginning, or a mistake? Do not fret; do not sweat the journey. Though you may stumble, doubt, worry, or fall, what matters most is what you do next. Pray, ask the Holy Spirit to center you, and take the next step; you can persevere with confidence. Delight in the Lord and trust his ways, for the divine guide [the Holy Spirit] is with you. ♡

“Run with endurance the race God has set before us with our eyes set on Christ” (Hebrews 12:1-2)

"Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:3-4).
